To support the development of future leaders from around the world in international cross-border trade, NTU Singapore today announced new scholarships offered by the Hinrich Foundation, an Asia-based philanthropic organisation focused on advancing mutually beneficial and sustainable global trade.
The Hinrich Foundation Global Trade Leader Scholarships are open to participants of the Nanyang Professional Master of Business Administration (PMBA) programme specialising in International Trading, an 18-month course conducted by the Nanyang Business School (NBS) at NTU Singapore to train experienced professionals in the trade sector to lead effectively across markets and cultures.
With 30 per cent of Asia’s trade conducted through Singapore and over 400 global, regional, and local commodities players located here, there is high demand for expertise in both broad and deep skills for leaders to be effective in a dynamic global trading environment. The Global Trade Leader Scholarship will encourage more professionals to take up the Nanyang PMBA in International Trading and become effective leaders in the sector.

Scholarship Guide Survey is back for the 3rd year! Our annual survey aims to collect views and opinions on scholarships and higher education from GCE ‘A’ Level and International Baccalaureate (IB) students and graduates, polytechnic students, and university undergraduates.
132 students received the Singapore-Industry Scholarship (SgIS)1 at the 2022 SgIS Award Ceremony today. The ceremony was held in person for the first time after two virtual editions, with Minister for Education, Mr Chan Chun Sing, as the Guest-of-Honour.
Minister for Defence Dr Ng Eng Hen presented The Singapore Armed Forces (SAF) Scholarship to six recipients, Public Service Commission (PSC) Scholarship (Engineering) – Defence and Security to four recipients, SAF Merit Scholarship to 19 recipients, SAF Engineering Scholarship to six recipients, Defence Merit Scholarship to 15 recipients, SAF Medicine Scholarship to six recipients, SAF Dentistry Scholarship to one recipient and Defence Science and Technology (DSTA) Scholarship to 36 recipients at a scholarship awards ceremony held at the Istana this evening.
